Liverpool's Star Offers Regret to Squad, Says Curtis Jones
The Liverpool midfielder has revealed that Salah apologised to the group of players following the controversy from his recent interview.

Salah was left out from a key Champions League match subsequent to making accusations and claiming his rapport with Arne Slot had soured.
“He speaks for himself and he can say his own stuff,” Jones told Sky Sports. “He apologised to us and was like: ‘If I’ve affected anybody, I apologise.’”
Arne Slot has refused to reveal on whether he got an explanation from the player.
Looking Ahead
The player stated that the squad's reaction stayed normal. “He was the exact same Mo, he had a big smile on his face and everybody was exactly the same with him,” the midfielder explained.
The midfielder also noted that a player's desire to start is less of an issue. “It's clear there are certain ways you can express yourself,” he said. “However, if a player is content to just sit out, then I think that’s concerning.”
On-Field Response
Liverpool's form have remained strong in the matches since the interview fallout. The player is convinced the Salah's words were never meant to destabilise the squad.
“In moments of frustration, it has consistently come from a good place,” the midfielder stated. “That chapter is closed and we’re uniting strongly, getting results and starting to win games.”
